The Innovation Center of Turin, a place where new ideas and connections with other international innovation ecosystems are generated and supported
The main issue faced by Open Incet was transforming an abandoned industrial area, located out of the city centre, into a center where accelerating the local innovation ecosystem of the City of Turin by systematically applying an open innovation approach.
Open Incet is a center promoted by the Municipality of Turin, result of a public-private partnership, guided by Fondazione Brodolini. The center works to connect local innovation ecosystems internationally in order to match demand and supply of innovation in different sectors and fields, from agri-food to digital manufacturing, from health to welfare and social inclusion. At the same time it works at local level to form a new generation of creative communities and social innovators, through a focus on generating ideas.
